My dealer recently received the Trident-9 I had ordered through Major Malfunction, and I wanted to sing his praises here for anyone thinking about going through him for their next purchase.

Throughout the entire process, Bryon (Major Malfunction) was quick to respond to my inquiries, very helpful and informative, and was/is an extremely nice guy on top of it all. He kept me up to date several times, unsolicited, on the progress of my order (we had to wait for SWR to finish the batch), and even went so far as to leave me a voicemail with a tracking number when my order was finally shipped to my dealer. Finally, when I did have the chance to talk on the phone, he was extremely personable and the kind of guy I think most of us enjoy dealing with - a real winner.

For any of you thinking of going through Bryon for your next silencer, do so without fear - he really is a great dealer. You won't regret it. Totally recommended!

After the fiasco I went through on my first suppressor purchase (from a different dealer) I swore that I would not do it again. But the bug hit again, I did a lot of research and set a criteria that:

1- It had to be in stock or will be incoming soon, verified by Manufacturer (and I did call SWR and YHM to checkout the Major). Both Manufacturers knew him by name and vouched for him and orders he had
placed along with ship dates.

2- I did not want to pay MSRP. (Which was what I was quoted by every dealer I contacted except the Major)

3- They had to answer the phone when I called and my questions. The Major even answered the phone when he was on vacation.

The Major provided all of these: very pleasant, knowledgeable, and hoot to talk to. Not only did he have a SWR Trident, YHM SS Phantom QD but was able to get extra QD's to go with my Phantom. The Major had the best prices by far out of the four quotes I received (two dealers chose not to reply). I would like to add that I saved enough with the Major to pay for one transfer tax and then some. Shipping was fast and communication was top notch. The Major will get my business in the future for sure. Now if only the BATFE worked as well.

After a very bad experience with an extremely greedy Class 3 dealer in McAllen, Texas, I was delighted to meet Bryon Gaston of Major Malfunction at the Wanenmacher's Gun Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Not only did Bryon have the suppressors that I wanted in stock, he had them at a better price than anyone else had quoted me. As a matter of fact, I bought two for less than the McAllen dealer wanted for one. Now admittedly, the second one was a .22 rimfire suppressor, but it was like getting it for free in the deal!

I found a Texas Class 3 dealer in Round Rock to transfer the suppressors to and even with his $50.00 per suppressor transfer fee, since I didn't have to pay sales tax, I bought the two suppressors for less than what I was quoted in McAllen for one suppressor with the sales tax included.

Bryon helped me set up a Trust, answered every phone call and question I had, and not once was he ever short tempered with me. You couldn't ask for a nicer guy to deal with.

Although, I still haven't found a Class 3 dealer in Texas that I'm satisfied doing the transfers with, I know that Bryon at Major Malfunction will be getting more of my business. As a matter of fact I'm already planning on buying two more suppressors from him. Just as soon as I raise the money, and with Bryon's help, figure out exactly which two I want next.

I recently purchased a YHM 3-Lug adapter for my YHM Cobra 9mm Suppressor through Major Malfunction. He got it for me at well under the retail price and I was quite pleased with our transaction. Unfortunately, when I tried to fit the adapter onto my 3-Lugged barrel it would not fit. Apparently my 3-Lugged barrel was slightly oversized. I contacted Major Malfunction to ask for suggestions on what I could do. He contacted me back the same day and had already made arrangements with YHM to receive my barrel & adapter. He said that YHM would machine them to fit and return them to me and even pay for my shipping. I received the barrel and adapter back in less than 2 weeks and everything fits perfectly. You cannot ask for better customer support/service than that. Major Malfunction sold me the adapter and through no fault of his own it would not fit, but instead of leaving me hanging he took care of my problem quickly and efficiently. I will use him for all of my future purchases and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone else. He is #1 in my book.

A few years back I walked into a class three shop and was met with arrogance that actually deterred me from entering the hobby (I was very intimidated). Well as time passed by I finally did buy my first can from a local guy. I was new to Class III items when I came to M3. I was looking to get a rimfire suppressor. They set me up with an incredible deal on a really great package. They beat every price I'd seen on the suppressor by at least 10% and no one could touch their price on the pistol I purchased at the same time.
